Ibiza Style Beach Bar Outdoor Space

Project Brief
This garden design project was created for a client who wanted a modern, functional, and aesthetically pleasing outdoor space. The garden will primarily be used by a family and their housemates, who typically host gatherings of over 15 people. With a budget of £3-5k, our team focused on creating small yet impactful changes that could be executed as DIY projects by the client.
One of the client’s requests was to incorporate a DJ stage and various seating arrangements positioned around focal points in the garden. To cater to the garden’s southeasterly aspect, our team planned to utilise either natural or artificial turf, creating an ideal surface for sunbathing or relaxing.
Fairy and feature lighting, paired with uplighting around trees and walls, helped to create a minimalist and refined atmosphere. The addition of raised flower garden beds, pergolas, and other features served to add height, perspective, and breaks in the space, creating a multi-functional area perfect for entertaining.
The Result
Overall, our goal was to bring our clients’ vision to life and create an outdoor space that was both functional and aesthetically pleasing. Working with our clients’ input, we utilised our expertise to maximise the space’s potential and create a garden that would be enjoyed for years to come.

Total Transformation Of A Sloping 22m Long Garden

Project Brief
This massive 22m Garden in London had been neglected and needed a total transformation. The existing deck was rotting, and the stairs were too narrow, making it difficult to access the garden safely. Additionally, the slope of the garden meant it was hard to use all of the available space.
We were tasked with designing an outdoor space that provided refuge in bad weather, incorporated striking plants and furniture, and included a functional studio office/GYM area.
The Result
The space was completely renovated, offering a tranquil refuge for the homeowner. The deck was replaced & extended into a stylish fresh space with views offer London. New stairs were installed to provide easier access to the garden. The slope of the garden was also reworked to make full use of all available space. This outdoor area now features an incredible entertainment space, as well as a functional studio office/GYM area – perfect for working from home or staying fit and healthy.

Focus – Connecting Un-usable Spaces
Exploring The Benefits of a Multi-Retaining Walled Garden for Maximised Potential

Project Brief
The design brief was to create a lush green space that feels like the Caribbean while being functional and able to accommodate day-to-day family usage as well as an occasional large group get-together. The connection between each space needed to be clear in order to make the entire area inviting for users. With plans for a dedicated firepit with seating and open fire, and a future garden chillout zone. It was also important to keep as much of the plants and vegetation as possible. Lastly, the design needed to also focus on enhancing the look of the lower retaining wall which will give it a stunning aesthetic when viewed from within the property.
The Result
This project was a success in that the design brief was met with great enthusiasm. The lush green space created included a dedicated fire pit for guests with ample seating, and the future garden chill-out zone provided plenty of opportunities for relaxation. A key feature of the design was to utilise as much of the plants and vegetation as possible in order to enhance the aesthetics of the lower retaining wall from within the property. Overall, this project has added a unique and inviting atmosphere to an outdoor space, creating the perfect place for day-to-day family usage or larger get-togethers.

Blank Canvas New Build Garden Project

Project Brief
Totally transform our new (blank canvas) built property and place privacy at the core of the design. The design needs to accommodate a trampoline for the kids, an oasis space for birds & wildlife and should be an extension of the home.
The Result
This exciting project was constructed to develop something that surpassed typical pavement walkways and water features found on most New Build Properties.
At its core, it revolves around the goal of privacy, radiating a tranquil Scandinavian colour palette to evoke a sensational atmosphere.
